Hey, I got this real nice email from a fellow New England actor. I asked his permission to post it cause I thought was such a nice letter to get out of the blue.

You don’t know me but I am a fellow actor from York, Maine. We haven’t worked together but I’ve seen you at auditions. The reason I’m writing is to wish you luck in getting the part in Ashecliffe. What a thrill that would be to be directed by Scorsese. I read your blog from time to time and find much of it very informative. I am impressed by your determination and commitment as an actor. I notice you continue to work toward your goal and strive to improve through ongoing training and hard work. I’ve been on the same path as you and have had some success but must say that I am inspired by yours.

Today I had another audition for one of the big budget flicks coming to town. This one is called “Mall Cop”, a Happy Madison production starting Kevin James. Kevin James is that star of the TV show “The King of Queens“. I know Happy Madison is Adam Sandler’s production company, but I am not sure if he will be in this film or not. I think I did really well, and I feel good about the audition. Wish me luck!

So, I am a bad blogger this week. I had a call back audition for Shutter Island/Ashecliff last weekend but never posted about it. I guess I was waiting to see if I got the part. I feel I did really well in the audition and Ellen Lewis who is a huge casting director in NYC said some really nice things about my performance. I am still waiting to hear — been 11 days. I must admit I am getting a little nervous now but I try to keep in mind that is was two weeks or more to hear about getting my role in “The Golden Boys” last year. I will post as soon as I hear anything. I really want this part in Shutter Island, so please send all your thoughts/prayers/mojo my way. It will be much appreciated.
