We filmed the first weekend shoot of Hiking in Hells heels and I had a blast. As you can see by the pic I had some serious make-up to sit throuh. It took an hour to put all that arm, leg and chest hair on. And two hours to take it off. I am still finding random hairs that are not mine occasionally, each one gives me a little laugh. The shoot was very physical and I was wiped out by the end. Lots of running and stuff.

When I first saw William he was wearing an orange prison-style jumpsuit for a role he was playing. My first thought was “This guy looks like he could rip my head off with his bare hands”. That thought was unwarranted though; William is an experienced giving actor. He shares his experience freely and always has some good advice. He even helped get me some connections that I am very grateful for. It was great fun to work with him. I hope I get a chance to work with him again.

Well, I just hit two of the milestones I had set for my acting journey. Not to sound cliché but boy is this acting thing truly a journey indeed.

2) Join AFTRA when I felt I was ready and confident enough to get paid union work. That time has come and I now have my AFTRA card.

Now it is time to set some more milestones to work to for.
