The project that must not be named!

Filed under: Acting Journey — Don @ 12:08 am

The project which must not be named is going well and moving forward. I can only talk about it in general terms because I signed an NDA and I cannot reveal details. What I can say is that this project is a privately funded TV Pilot that follows the basic sitcom format. I am playing what is called in the industry a “series regular”, meaning I am one of the main characters who will be in every episode. Most sitcoms have that one really whacky character, like Seinfeld’s Kramer, and Cheer’s Woody, and so on. In this show I am that whacky guy. I do a lot of physical comedy and have some very funny lines. So far the show is going good, and is now completely cast. We are currently moving into rehearsal stage, and will probably be shooting in early 2007; I can’t wait!

‘Tis all for now!

  4. I love mystery projects! That means they are so big that you can’t say a word about them. Good luck to you on this one, Don. I am wishing you success ontop of success.

  6. It’s very hard to get support as an actor from people. Usually they think you nuts. You have mine, always.

  8. […] Also the TV Pilot I talk about occasionally looks like it finally has a solid shooting date in June. I am so glad the producers have taken the time they needed to make sure the script was right and that the actors are all connected. The cast has been working together in rehearsals for over eight months now and we need to be fully connected to make it work; I think we now are! […]
