A nice email!
Hey, I got this real nice email from a fellow New England actor. I asked his permission to post it cause I thought was such a nice letter to get out of the blue.
Dear Don,
You don’t know me but I am a fellow actor from York, Maine. We haven’t worked together but I’ve seen you at auditions. The reason I’m writing is to wish you luck in getting the part in Ashecliffe. What a thrill that would be to be directed by Scorsese. I read your blog from time to time and find much of it very informative. I am impressed by your determination and commitment as an actor. I notice you continue to work toward your goal and strive to improve through ongoing training and hard work. I’ve been on the same path as you and have had some success but must say that I am inspired by yours.
Here’s wishing you continued success in the future. Keep up the great work.
Best regards,
Thomas Olson
Check him out at his website www.tommyolson.com and on myspace and wish him luck!
Best of Luck on landing some nice roles this year Thomas!
‘Tis all for now!
Nice letter - CONGRATS!
Just wondering if you have heard anything about your most recent auditions and perhaps, didn’t yet have time to post a blog??
(my fingers have been crossed for so long, they are starting to cramp!)

Mover and Shaker,
Sadly, no. It has been 3 weeks now since my Ashecliff call-back so I am doubtful about it now. Tom, who wrote that nice email told me he waited a month before hearing back that he got a principal role in “Real Men Cry”, so maybe there is still a chance. My other audition was only last Friday, so I am still hopeful about that one.
Kind Regards,
Don

Don’t write it off. These big pictures can take a long time to mae decisions.
Cool to get that kind of support!
